The Flying Turtles, the North Suburban YMCA's Special Olympics Swim Team, now in its 4th year, held its maximum a hit swim meet but on April 6 on the District opposition at Lake Forest College. Now the biggest crew on the district meet with 33 swimmers, the crew earned a complete of 20 gold medals, 10 silver medals and one bronze medal. 12 swimmers have certified for the Illinois State Summer games, a good way to take vicinity the weekend of June eighth at Illinois State University.
